This is good info, but I'd be curious to know what percentage of elderly people in each state are actually in nursing homes. Just to be impartial and fair.
My grandparents are from a conservative state, and they're in their 90s and still live at home. I imagine living at home in your 90s is very rare for people who live in liberal states. Those elitist liberals couldn't possibly be expected to spend time out of their busy schedule to care for their elderly parents, they throw money at it and throw them in a pre-cemetery.
